Should there be any concerns, or in pregnant mares considered high-risk of encountering problems, we can assess mare, foal (and placenta) using comprehensive monitoring techniques, including advanced ultrasound scans. Regular ultrasound examinations can be used to confirm the presence of a viable foetus, monitor its growth, organ development and heart rate; and identify any abnormalities. Early detection of potential issues is key, enabling timely intervention and the implementation of appropriate care protocols.
